So I did a quizz and my answer is incorrect, I want to analyze it but I don’t know if I’m correct or not since it's tricky. It says: On the interval [-6,6] indicate if a global maximum or minimum exists. The function is: y=-25x/(x^2+25)… how do I solve this?

step 1: find local extrema using first derivative test or whatever you'd like

step 2: find the output of the function at the local extrema and on the endpoints of the interval

step 3: compare these outputs. The biggest one corresponds to the global (on the given interval) maximum.
