it is asking you for the total costs
in a year
this means u accumulate 1,000,000 euros of debt by then PLUS the 3 euros per toy cost
think of the y = mx +b formula
But the name of the function is "cost per toy" ? I thought of that formula first and it made more sense, but the function name threw me off.
yeah there are two different things you can call cost per toy
they are giving one and asking for the other
it can't be 3T though
you would say how is it not 3
So the meanings of "cost per toy" in this context are:
a) The cost of producing a single toy, which is 3 euros
b) The total cost depending on the amount of toys, which is T
Then, I think the answer should be f(T) = 3*T + 1 000 000
What do you say?
i would say 36 because toys are 3 euros and there are 12 months in a year
that's total cost, it's useful but it's not the answer
1 000 000 / T + 3
yeah that works
