not sure what that explanation is getting at? "not well defined" usually means that the elements of the domain can be represented in different ways, and the "function" evaluates to different things depending on which representation is chosen

for example.. consider a "function" f from Q to Q that sends each rational number x to it's denominator

but that would mean f(1/2) = 2 and f(2/4) = 4

so the way the function is defined isn't valid if we treat 1/2 and 2/4 as equal

I need help with putting in order my answers. It’s for Algebra 2 and I already did the work for it.

I’ve tried putting it in order in terms of the actual answers for all the problems but that didn’t work. I tried doing it by #1 in the order first but at some point, an answer to a problem would be that the answer to a problem would be #1 and so I would end up stuck in a loop.
