i found 128gb drives that are about the size as my thumbnail for $15 that could get here monday. i could put linux on that, and if i like it, i could upgrade to a 512gb drive of the same shape for like $42. 256gb is the middle ground at like $23, but idk that it's worth getting another 128gb for a trial. like, if i use 128gb, i probably would want the 512gb one anyway.
