• EU: Less upward mobility than the US, more forgiving if you mess up or get blasted. A few mild annoyances compared to the US but largely things I could circumvent or get used to. Germany would be the correct answer here
• Morocco: My OG country, lots of business opportunities if you're clever, not as great to be an employee (unless you work for a multinational that moves you there, effectively an expat who happens to be local. But for the hopefully more intentionally interesting kind of work I'd like to do eh not much of a scene here). I'm Americanized in enough ways that some aspects about life in Morocco might be a bit -_- but I've been there for HS and handled it just fine. If I'm gonna go to Africa it'll probably be Morocco
• Gulf Arabia: Vague affinity since I'm from an Arab country, development is nice, opportunities aren't as high as before but still might be high. I'd probably wanna present myself as an American rather than as a Moroccan though, apparently salary is based on country and Moroccans make less (plus are treated a bit eh there, though better than South Asians at least...). Weather is a bit rough. Oman seems friendliest but opportunities are best in UAE and perhaps Qatar is my vibe
• Australia/NZ maybe? Tbh I should think more about here
• Malaysia/Singapore could be a vibe. Great quality of life, cultural assimilation may be non-trivial, and weather is perhaps a bit rough
• East Asia: Development seems great, assimilating into the relevant culture may be difficult. Originally I'd say Japan is my pick here, though honestly China is making a strong case
• Latin America should be more on my radar than it is tbh, I could imagine some potential there for sure.
