Hello everyone, I'm currently learning math in highschool and I feel really inadequate, I've forgotten a lot of stuffs from algebra to trigonometry, which makes computing derivatives and integrals really hard, and I do not understand the idea of the subject at hand most of the time. So I want to start a do-over in math where I go back from the beginning and relearn the fundamentals, which would be a long journey if I start from the very beginning, and I have my graduatation test in about 3 months which I doubt would be enough time to manage everything in math. Is there a shorter path I can take that doesn't take as much time but allow me to do well on my test? (most of the test is computing derivatives + integrals & some probability)

yeah no i don't think you have to go back to the very fundamentals if you have a test just on those things

if you are struggling with grasping the concepts themselves 3 months is definitely enough and there are plenty of courses on youtube on calculus; if you are struggling with the algebra (rearranging terms, expanding brackets, simplification, stuff like that), then you are in a bit of a worse position and the concepts might not be particularly helpful. if that's the case, you should focus on doing algebra which merely involves a lot of practice, but it's best to do it on the exam questions you are gonna have

Gemini will provide sources usually, so I don't really care about fact-checking that much. need some advice, my calc course is extremely pure-math-ish oriented and I absolutely despise it and it’s largely an institutional preference within the math dept at my uni. We’re using Adams & Essex’s book for calc, this book is a nightmare for calc as few unis use this for their standardized calc curriculum and mostly serve as a preparatory advanced calc reading before starting real analysis. I have yet to find any lectures online based on the contents of this book, let alone a proper syllabus to follow.

I need advice on how I can take standard calc 1-3 courses utilizing Calculus Early Transcendentals by James Stewart, as calc courses who base the reading on this book happen to have entire lectures and syllabus available online using this book. Anyone, knows how I can take individual standard calc courses for credit? Do I have to re-enroll/apply to a specific major or are there de-centralized options available?
