if you sit in a Ferris wheel, the bottom plane of the carts is always facing the ground

So if you look at the pivot, it is revolving around you with the same distance and angular speed as you are revolving aroudn it

Meaning that:

the centripetal force for the cart is: m_cart * omega^2 * r
