I think I can speed this up if the divisor was a constant (but important to note here is that it's not a real constant, it's in some kind of data structures so even though divisors are quite limited and known, it's not easily optimizable by the compiler)
What algorithm do you know? One thing I have is to make x/y -> x*(1/y)
The thing in () are supposed to be pre-computed and reused. So it can use cheaper multiplications but with slight errors.
