real talk: streaming math is very interesting
Streaming what exactly? Homework? Research?
problem solving, research
I don't think streaming research would be very interesting
I feel like you don't want many viewers and distracting donations then
well u dont stream math for donations
Yes but I feel like you really don't want notifications that would distract you
why? same thing being done in programming twitch streams and it's very interesting
while solving problems etc
Programming ≠ research lmao
In programming you can live code
In math you can live mess
everyone thought coding is live mess tho
Math is waaay worse in that regard
imo i think it would be like solving problems in group
This isn't how you do research
Even if you collab in research you have strictly split tasks
hmm well maybe i dont know about research..
but solving problems is great for streams
hell i watch alot of programming streams and everytime i think why not math around here
Sitting there thinking about one very minute detail of a proof for 2 hours is not a very interesting stream.
You could probably stream homework quite well
i agree
Why not proof assistant streams. Maths + programming all in one
Answering my own question here: it's because when people do programming streams, often it's with something where you can visually see the result immediately.
e.g. gamedev
based
watching me swear at lean while playing the natural number game probably would have been entertaining
@mint canopy is your pfp pluto
yea htats pluto
The last programming stream I watched was a guy who was programming their own quant trading platform
there were no results
just talk about people who committed financial crimes
It is, yeah
wtf is this new profile pic cali
russian sleep experiment
I felt cheated because they never referenced this photo in the creepypasta
Guys I need to go do work someone please make me do work
meow
meow!
do work!
oh no I must leave now before it's too late
this one is a threat, not motivation
so here was I preparing for a sprint, and my manager was asking me if I had any updates before the meeting...
@loud snow did you mean teleported to another place? i guess you can call the teleportservice from a script builder.... ooof
no lol
teleport service in popular front page games
because there was a popular secruity exploit at the time that lets you run dev console
and you can just lua inject into the game and teleport service people to desired place
so you would join 30+ player servers and teleport people and then keep going

idk if popular was the right word though
lol
and someone renamed me to mrdoombringer
ive seen my fair share of admins
since my username was doombringer42
i physically peaked in hs
i physically peaked in middle school, is that bad lol
probably lol
im still sort of athletic but ive been injured
(in my age group)
my fencing club had a lot of top tier people
and some top tier coaches
also he made the smart decision of recruiting students from my school, which was exclusively for gifted people
he had a lot of good fencers from that school
gifted programs are cool concept
but probably bad in enough ways
i wish early schooling had a coorporate structure
that way I could be a class manager in 3rd grade
i liked it a lot better than public school and normal private school
idk why its called gifted
it just stratifies kids who care about school topics and kids who don't or can't
the people at that school were legitimately gifted
Calling it gifted is inappropriate
But you should give a student as much stimulation and advancement as they can receive
how is that inappropriate
Because it implies that it's not something that the student has done
are you saying people got into the school solely by studying
True they didn't choose to understand it more easily or like it more easily than their peers, but their efforts in understanding the concepts and solving the problems is genuine
And from outside, it feels like it's a group you can't join
this is real though
Because a gift doesn't come from yourself
especially for kids. its sad but by cirucumstance there will be kids that can't keep up
That's what I'm saying, gifted reinforces that feeling
Whether or not it's true, reflecting it in the language is only discouraging
I personally don't know if kids care that deeply about language and maybe they only feel this way as they get older
The job is to uplift
because thats how I felt
I think kids think about it as deeply
But don't care because they lack the ability to self analyze deeply enough to see how and why they care
And so can't identify and express it
Like I have a cognitive response in an instant, even if it takes me over a minute to explain what happened cognitively. The child is simply never able to explain the cognition
i was def salty that I knew gifted programs existed but I couldnt be in them because my school district was broke
yeah I mean I am all for renaming it
But I have a feeling it might become a bureaucratic topic
Being in the gifted program I had complaints, I don't truly know what it's like on the outside of it
because that tends to happen in education
But I never felt challenged by the program
Except for when they started asking for outlines and drafts instead of just final assignments
.
start em young
drafting is good honestly
but i dont think children can ever do it properly
Understanding the importance requires a certain level of thought about consequences and how things develop realistically over time, things that you see a lot less of in children
They need brain development and life experience
the idea of grading drafts or outlines has always seemed dumb to me
The grade for that should be "did you do it"
the way I write drafts now are unintelligible but they come with finished products
I don't like "submit anything" grades
I'm sinfully prideful
If I'm not proud of what I've done I stubbornly refuse to submit anything
Historically speaking
I've had a lot of character development
i have never been exposed to this opinion about the "gifted" label and still don't really understand it
the line is blurry, sure, but some people are just built different and have different needs
recognizing who is and isn't is always going to be a source of controversy
my first school legitimately thought i was stupid, supposedly, because i stayed silent when they were interviewing 5 year old me
my father had it worse -- his school told him he was mentally r-worded (it was the 50s)
I was very lucky, educators around me went out of their way to help me out
and while i think of myself as smart, i have met people that make me feel stupid
Inside I just felt the crushing weight of their expectations
well, honestly my school was not super-high pressure like that
we had a lot of smart but objectively bad students at my school
They told me I could be anything, I took that to mean I must be something immense and great
in fact we had a lot of people with disorders of some kind
I never thought it could mean I could be whatever I wanted
i definitely heard the "you guys will be presidents and astronauts" thing from a teacher once, but i don't think anyone took it to heart in that environment
when it comes to expectations, for instance our math teacher took us to math competitions, and we never really beat the other schools, but he didn't really care
he was more focused on teaching fundamentals
he taught me and the other two 8th graders the formal definition of a limit (in plain english)
My math teacher refused to take my work because I did it on the back side of the notebook paper I used
So the holes were on the wrong side
Which didn't stop me from doing it
Because I could never pay enough attention to the fucking piece of paper while I was doing math
Why would I be thinking about that
I'm doing the digits
i will say i spent 2 years in algebra 1, because these new principals with no understanding of giftedness just said, "well they're gifted, let's let them teach themselves at their own pace"
and so i slogged through the textbook on my own for 2 years cuz i wasn't that passionate about math yet
That's hilarious and sad
they're smart! they'll figure it out on their own! lol
Most adults can't teach themselves, I wouldn't leave it to a child
Sure they can do it, but a drunk person occasionally can drive, doesn't mean you put that in your plan for the evening

To be honest, I’d argue that’s better than forcing them to take an unnecessary class. If you force the unnecessary class, it actively wastes their time and forces them to work on their own.
maybe, but in what world is algebra 1 an unnecessary class, particularly for someone who is shown to excel in math (i was several years ahead at the time)
children think a lot of things are unnecessary without necessarily thinking about their future
Children are not idiots tho
They are compared to themselves in the future
We're all stupid because we're not done learning
And if you're done learning, I pity your soul
Less abstractly, no matter who you are, you won't process decisions, planning, and your emotions the same as a 25 year old as you do when 8, 13, 15, 18, or even 21
And that trend follows one of development and complexification
A large part of the ability to be gained with age is the ability to abstain from pleasures for your own betterment
cansomeone help
Children just want to play
The adult must go to work, and indeed seeks a job when without one
This is necessary for stewarding your own studies
Do not dm
you are either gonna call me a genius or a dumbass

Can anyone give some words of wisdom to a first year math major that feels like a fraud
attempt to not kiys
there's a chem server in #old-network
"do the HW and try to understand them"
You can induce Dunning-Kruger effect by learning overly hard subject
"Ah yes I got this! (Not really)"
Imposter syndrome?
- Math skills don't define your worth.
- Math skills don't define others' worth.
All my other courses are fine but number theory is obliterating my self esteem
idk it's not even that hard and I can apply stuff and all but I just lack intuition and ir makes me feel like a moron
i'll try
I think so. I also study way to long and the only breaks I take is for caffeine induced panic attacks. (not real panic attacks I just have to lay down for a bit)
I also barely eat and I look like shit.
Don't caffeine
I can't take breaks without feeling guilty
I tell my gf I'm going to take a day of studying but once she leaves for work I head to the library without her knowing like a gambling addict sneaking into the casino
I always wanted to study math but always felt to stupid but know I feel like i'm overdoing it because I couldn't handle failing
Today someone from my study group pointed out a mistake I made in latex and I almost lost it
i guess I know that but I feel like my life would have no meaning if didn't perform.
It's funny because most people in my social circle couldn't care less about math and but I always feel like I'm letting them down.
It's insane
what would give your life meaning provided you did perform? It's just grades and those don't contribute to society or anything
you already do better than a lot of people by not being demanding to others
I don't think there is any logic behind my motivation performing just allows me to not feel this sense of dread for a while
oh so you want to keep yourself busy
Don't get me wrong I love mathematics more than anything and I have always seen it as a hobby and enjoyed every second but now that it'S official it has just become an obsession
A lot of people think I don't know what to do with my life because I made this decision.
I guess it's also to prove them right
I think I should probably get help I sound like a crazy person#
be careful, internalizing judgment from others can be a quick way to burnout
you're probably not alone lol
I think I'm on my way there.
I look horrible I don't know what happened in the past months but I lost a lot of weight and I look very sick
I'm not depressed or anything just anxious all the time if I'm not doign something
The problem is also that I'm doing three things at a time.
Strange. Esp since this is coming from someone with gf
I'm an apprentice, mathmajor and i'm finishing my high school diploma at the same time.
It's weird but I managed to get to uni before having my "Abitur" which is required to access uni but I am allowed to study there but I won't get my Bachelors Diploma until I have finished school
I know it makes me feel horrible
I guess you really want to do some math
I guess. I also often think that maybe if I got help i'd realise that I'm doing all of that for my ego and that I then won't keep doing math.
That's what keeps me from getting help mainly
I don't know if that makes sense
I think even experts look for help time to time in conferences
Well it probably does not make sense at all, but I hope you get what im trying to say
Yea, it makes sense
Just that, imho you do need to overcome that to continue doing math.
i guess it's either that or breaking down and then failing for real
Number theory is still super weird
Yea it is
Well, you can suck at some fields
You do not need to excel at everything.
I guess so, I just thought it wouldn't be the queen of all math fields
After all, number theory is just one of many mathematics subfields.
Yeah I know also I 'm to early into my degree I can't know what I'll be good at in the end
I do :/
Thank you I needed to hear that
Np!
Can I ask you if you had a similar experience?
Well, I do get frustrated often with math. Also I lack self-esteem. Tho, I avoid defining my life by math.
Guess it depends, person by person.
I guess so, maybe if I was able to just do math and wasn't in the weird situation I am i would stress about it as much.
I mean ofc I'm always going to have to have a job to support myself but this is just to much.
40-50h of work plus 30h of studying.
I can never take a weekend of just for myself and the little time I do have I try to do somthing with my girlfiend which is great and I love her but I'm so exhausted that I can barely enjoy it.
Sorry for dumping this on you. I think I'm just going to have a nap or take a bath to relax.
Ah, that must be stressful then.
I hope you take time, get relaxed, and refresh yourself
Maybe you are just tired.
I will. Thank you again have a great day
You too!
Math is great though, I love that I was able to find something I can be this passionate about
michael penn is great for number theory, if you can't understand that well
Michael penn is the goat
Yeah I love that guy

Can anyone of you guys help me with this one question? This is pretty tricky
Looks like the help forum is not helping since people skipping this question

They're not helping because its the help forums

Solved actually
@frank torrent @round siren how's it going guys
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vW4TjU4IoPY&t=49s What kinda problem is this?
Trying to solve it know seeing if I can
Can someone guess why I think that the integral from -inf to +inf of 1/x^2 dx = 0 ?
Because your math is wrong
lol
It should be infinite because the graph never ends
yessss..., but not quite
false
Ok why were you thinkimg zero
well, if you simply solve the integral it does give you 0
that's something you and I can say
Hmmmm
You're wrong
tell me why?
What is a bunny suppose to know about intergrals
$$\forall x \in \mathbb{R} , \frac{1}{x^2} > 0$$
what the...
help me
x=0, then undefined
all x that is a real number, within 1/x^2 wil be greater than 0,
that's what it says
luke1337
and if x= what you call undefined, then 1/x^2 = 0
$\frac{1}{0} = 1$
help me
maybe to calculate it's final possition when he makes a certain force to jump lol
The force it takes munch on carrots
And the final velocity it takes to jump
New discussion
well, thats more like muscle memory of the bunny
ha
if you allow the reciprocal of 0 to exist, like I do, then this wouldn't be quite true
1
anything divided by itself is wang, wemember (humoristic)
Wang?
one
no
0 goes into itself only 1 time
other wise you would be saying 0 / 0^2
How can 0 go into 0 if zero is zero. Zero sense
Zero theory lol
Zero theory so stupid just like Murphy's laws
no, like my zero theory
i haven't explained this to you yet
tho it doesnt yet explain why the integral over there = 0
Because zero is imaginary
oh yes, i do agree on that lol
How long should it take to go through a math book
idk. what i know is that I dont like how math books teach that much
Reading it thoughly should take hours
Skimming would take less than an hour
And depends on page
Length
And completely
Complexity
lol
It autocorrected
But you should do problems too
so it's not good to read it in one sitting
lmao
oh, so; wait you said how ling should it take to go through
damn
Ling
Instead of arguing about 0/0 y'all can just figure out hyperreal numbers
We love ling
and to go though a book,
you have to breake it with a hammer and go through?
would you even fit! in?
Or we can burn it, and it will vaporize within minutes
i kindof got to it in anythere way, did I
i use powers of 0 and inf
what about surreal numbers
not quite, i can say 2x0, -0, 0i, -0i, 2x0 -i etc.
Yes because zero is imaginary
what are these?
Im just reading Understanding Analysis by Abbott so shouldn't take long
you imagine it, but you can make ideas real, so
(I hope I finish it in two weeks)
Cool.
Otherwise
There is an app that summarize books
Within minutes
and also youtube
But reading is better
Facts
Especially for science
Reading is only good if you have time
Like Andrew Tate would say. Time is valuable. Don't f with the things that are not important
what
Ok I might've over exaggerated
lol, wait, vaporize?
what liquid in here?
But he would say time is what you can never get back. So use it on the important things in life.
That's the joke. It's a solid!
ye, to give it more stength
I don't think it's possible to effectively summarise a math book
I do think so
it might depent
Watching Indian youtubers
And it's a bad idea to summarise lmao
ok, you might be a bit unclear on some things
Since you need to know all the notations and theorems and everything
Like zoom zoom, and swoosh swoosh.
Ok tell me when the fudge cake where you used derivatives in real life
Or polynomials
With insane degress
in analog computerssssss
well
math's the boss behind the scenes, but it's chill enough to let you live your non-calculus moments too
they are usefull for 2d rotations and stuff
Like we cant be having a car going -root 3i
You don't need maths for everything in life, but it sure is hella necessary for explaining the universe
And inventing things
That's physics
bc complex numbers simply NA to that
untill you extend it to that
Ok that's true
I don't give a shit whether math is usefull or not. Go on amd find something to use it with, not our problem
Too rude, sorry
well, math is used practically everywhere behind the courtain
Well you should care if what you're doing is useful or not
Jab the type of dude to mess in a chem lab and make funky experiments
It gives you more insight
No i shouldn't
what about https://desmos.com/calculator
but service courses to other majors are what pays a lot of the bills in math departments...
including funding graduate students
All fun and games when you give a patient the wrong dosage due to inacurate math solving
haha so true
I mean, great if you can apply math! But most math being researched don't and won't have an immediate application
yeah
Ofc
Let's just say half of the things we learn in school is absolutely useless
or when you dont calculate the right ammount of tubes in a structure (it colapses like ΞΞΞΞΞΞΞΞ)
Just like physics
Or calculating the amount of moles in a solution for chemistry
But practically all maths is built on a pragmatic basis
So everything that follows would be of a pragmatic cause
Usually research emgineers and physicists are responsible for finding applications to math, so leave them to do it
the math that a computer does to graph everything in a game
Of course not, that is insane
my chemistry teacher used to call it a “dead baby” when you write .1 instead of 0.1
Why a dead baby 💀
because you misread the dosage and administered 1mg instead of .1 mg
Yuh
oho
Ohh I see
lol

so there is a legit reason for that leading 0. in some contexts
💀bro that would be so sad
indeed
what a valuable point
My teacher be giving fat red marks for not doing correct sig figs
Only 10 times more. The baby should be fine, i can tell
a light movement on a little tiny dot and you multiply by POWERS OF TEN
tbf, that only justifies the leading 0. for pharmarcists and doctors, why do the rest of us write it, haha
However there is one major problem about sig figs.
woah, this chat is divergent
oscillating to infinity
If you really want to be accurate you should really incorporate all the number, for example if you making a rocket ship go to space. You want to have all the numbers possible
and, arround the tan(x), it all comes back home, but you have to get past eternity and round back
In physics we call it the equalibrum
Goes back to resting
but you'll 1st need to pass throught all the powers of infinity and beyond
And how do you do that
Is two weeks enough time to ace 3 exams
Hey I managed to do it in 1 week
Four four exams
But this was during hs
wow
sure
well I'm still in hs but our math teacher is popular for his hard tests
Oh you should be fine
Don't sweat it. In the real world they only look at your college grade, but in reality its the degree you get
How do I know? Multiple outside sources and from parents experience.
Yeah well I still need good grades to get into a uni lmao
That's true
I did get a 3.9
Gpa
But went to a college that requires 2.5
In fact most colleges will accept gpa of 3.0 and above
But those good colleges you need 3.5
And those prestige you need 4.0 or better
oh we’re talking about high school gpa
Nah, we talking about the earth inertia
well there is no such thing as above 4.0 in college as far as i know
We were talking about hs, and yes there is no such thing as above 4.0
It’s a mess converting lol
it’s like 5.0 for ap classes right
Just like converting the damn English system to metric system. What a joke. United States messed up, no wonder why Americans are stupid and getting dumb every day
my school had 6.0 but i don’t remember wtf that was
Depends on the school, and the grading system
Most schools have 5 some only go to 4
don't you get above 4.0 for honors classes?
i think my school was 5.0 for honors and 6.0 for ap, or some bullshit like that
that has ridiculous inflation

"i have a 5.4 gpa"
Life not fair, touch grass
why do i feel like you are salty about something
bro has been constantly sarcastic
Like salt water?
No because it's literally unfair to other students who can only get 4.0
no?
When colleges look at the grades. Which is better? 5.0 or 4.0
they adjust them to a 4.0 or 5.0 grade point system
nobody uses a 6.0 grade point system
But generally they take the higher grade. But there are other factors too
part of why transcripts are so commonly self-reported is so that they can adjust that
you input the grades manually so that they can convert them to a standard grade
Honestly, it should just be a standardized grading scale
I don't see a point in this 6.0 or 5.0 nonsense
i mean it seems reasonable to give students taking ap classes a bonus
idk how it is done in other countries with similar programs to ap though
Yeah, it's not. we should do something about it
isn't the bonus supposed to be college credits?
doesn't make sense to add another bonus
perhaps, but how do you compare someone who got a slightly lower grade in an ap class to someone who got an A in a non-ap class
ideally using a number that can be fed into some database
i am sure they use these stats to filter people out
Yea literally ap classes where made to get college credits without the intent of boosting gpa
But people kept complaining
And school system adopt
All squares are rectangle, therefore all rectangles are squares.
No one is proving me wrong

Not really a math question. There's a good sale on school supplies at a local store. Starting college this spring. Are homework assignments expected to be done on Letter sized paper or do they not care what paper you use typically?
Depends on the school, my school does all homework online. I know some used college ruled paper for their assignments as well
be that one person who does it on A1
lmao
This is not how colleges work
At least in the US
They have a school report which explains how the grading system works for each school and adjust the reported GPAs accordingly
If you are given a quadratic equation and you want to find acceleration, do you divide the value of a in ax^2 by 2 or do you multiply it by 2?
what?
are you talking about
$$\Delta x = v_0 t + \frac{1}{2} a t^2$$
help me
yeah
Just isolate a
y = ax^2+bx +c is the mathematical equation, while xf = ½ at^2+vit+xi is the physics relationship
$$\frac{2(\Delta x - v_0 t)}{t^2} = a $$
help me
So I need to multiply the ax^2 value in the mathematical equation by 2 to get the acceleration?
no idea what you're even saying
I think I understand what you are curious about
You are wondering if a projectile is thrown and follows a parabola, how do you find the acceleration of the projectile over time given the equation for the parabola?
yeah basically
Well the two equations you had, the one for quadratic formula and the other for acceleration have different coefficients
so the general equation you write out for a quadratic formula isn't related to acceleration formula in physics
I would be curious for more context if I were to help. What is the exact question/ what do you already know about/ do you know what vectors are
nvm can't help anymore
thanks for trying
💬
who pinged me =.=
today is my school's report day
luckily my teacher told my mom my result is quite ok and i have no discipline issue and no teacher has complained about me
thanks btw

I checked the question
The square–cube law (or cube–square law) is a mathematical principle, applied in a variety of scientific fields, which describes the relationship between the volume and the surface area as a shape's size increases or decreases. It was first described in 1638 by Galileo Galilei in his Two New Sciences as the "...ratio of two volumes is greater th...
It applies to this question because the shape of the cone is a scaled version of the shape of the ice cream

I like bad programs
They are so badd
what the truck did I just read
use that thing by which you can change the syntax

use em
paint them inside your eyelids
i tend to forgot previous formulas as more formulas are being discussed
make sure to use radiographic paint
like making your own problems?
its still not effective to me tho
even fraction i forget on how to solve
Do physics or physical chem]
In physical chem you get to do a lot of unnecessary arithmetic
Sad
oki
add them up
Do coordinate geometry
then paint them under your eyelids
I dont know how to
have you tried it?
yeah now i remember everything
oh nice
This is called similarity
It works because the stuff inside the cone and the cone itself have the same shape but different sizes
I wonder what happens when you add another layer of immiscible liquid on top and it forms a frustum...

yes AP Psych
nah, I'm doing horrible in the class lol
Why'd you take it then

haha
If Muhammad has 5 appples and give 2 aways to fancy, how much apple do they both have.
I'll give all five to fancy lol
He may need them more than me
Hes more tired than me at the day-end
Wrong anwser
Anwser is undefined because there are many people name Muhammad and fancy, therefore we don't know how much they have
No.
My answer is right.
Let $f(t)$ be a function which returns how many apples $t$ has. Let $m\in{x:x\text{ is a person named Muhammad}}$ have $5$ apples ($f(m)=5$). Let $m$ give all 5 apples to an $n\in{y:y\text{ is a person named fancy}}$, for whom ($f(n)=0$). After the exchange, $f(m)=0, f(n)=5.\\$
Since we have to find $f(m)+f(n)$, in both cases, before and after the exchange, $f(m)+f(n)=5$
@glacial robin
@brave leaf
read from here, fancy
proved him wrong, damn
Lol.
then I give three back
And then I give half back
Now f(m)=f(n)
then I give zeta(3) back
Oh no.
I think I'm brewing something
Damn you got the whole problem figured out
Don't mess with me
Haha

Hola
i just think having vc access would be dope cuz like sometimes it's easier to communicate verbally rather than over text
DM Modmail
cuz like i have adhd so my thoughts can move faster than my ability to communicate them over writing or text
@polar panther
and the role i'm asking for is the infinity symbol right?
Oh hey me too
@hasty peak dami ping moment
which unlocks vcs
I find it easier under text
for me it depends
what's the name of the vc?
Obsidian pillar VC
The catagory is obsidian pillar
oh so there isnt even a vc for talking abt math or stuff? or can you use it for whatever?
For whatever
Ig it was for Minecraft originally but no one uses it for that
Well . Or was.
Me and feather spent like 3 hours one time and I was backseat coding
alr imma boogie down to modmail dms ill be back when im done writing my request for the role 🙏
Nami uses it to stream his PC gaming sessions
Ok
omg how does it work
i just sent 2 messages to test and it just reacted to them 😭
do i just type my message i want staff to see?
Idk 😭
Lmao tey might get mad at the Test ones 😭
Na they nice tho
Ok
I am getting grilled in math discussy 😭
Ima fail Lin alg
lol imma go see that
Don't panic
@\Moderators give amukh perma-studying
Not yet
I’m learning about stuff
In math discussy
Yea atleast you'll stay away from discussies.
You can learn about it in topic channels too
You really have a Discord addiction problem
I use Discord just because I don't go anywhere irl
Once I start going somewhere, like medschool or engg school I'm not coming here lol
Its just I cant stand not being surrounded by people
cant lose that very active 🙏
Nah
If I stop being active I get a diff role
Called emiritus
I kinda care for my Very Active but I just removed the colour so I get adjusted to the normal life
I keep the perks and get very active way faster
Ya I saw
lmao
hi
How've you been
ola
just busy with schoolwork since I'm graduating this year hbu?
You're graduating this year!
Yayay!
Me, just trying to get off Discord once again
ooh interesting
it's not math
Oh I see.
I thought it was physics tho...
On a second thought, physics is jus applied maths
I dont think so
You can understand better in physics
Since you're dealing with something that actually exists
And not just is in your head
Except for...
isn't physics for engineering tho?
Not necessarily.
Physics not for CSE
lol
I'm kinda not interested mastering physics lmao
I am.

🐧
Me
I think they're sincere
I think amukh would like him
I recently unsubbed from him. The main issue I see is that whatever he says is usually known so like he isn't saying something very new.
Plus most of the problems he solves are on the easier side, I have never seen him solve any interesting questions
i like to watch professor dave explains
he goes quicker than khan academy (i still love khan academy) and gets straight to the point and keeps it simple still
Bright side of mathematics is my favorite math channel
It's my spooptober pic
Ohh, cool
everyone assumes it’s an scp lol
I don't know what scp is
Scp is kinda like a big fanfiction project
Didn't knew it was a creepy pasta
About the "scp foundation" which contains anomalous beings and stuff
It's a very large collaborative project with thousands of articles and stories
Some are really good, a lot are garbage
Kinda like creepypasta then
Yes exactly
hi ryc
Hello
Yesterday I saw a video about SCP 682 and how powerful it is by comparing it to other SCPs and how it somehow transcends to the multi-multi verse of stuff
Oh I agree with the latter
Im in bed to sleep soon
So true
Is 682 the lizard dude
It's kinda weird cause you already need to know about SCPs to understand how powerful that SCP is lol
That ones so silly
Lmao yes
Infographics Show has good SCP vids tho
My favorite SCP thing is the antimemetics stories
Lizard fella cannot be killed by any means but HCl too powerful
What are those?
600x315 seriously
So a memetic being is one that spreads through ideas/thoughts
An antimeme is an scp which spreads by NOT being thought of
WHAT?
So for example, something that constantly removes memories from your head (feeding on them)
That sounds like weeping angles but instead of eye contact, you maintain thought contact or something?
Or attacks you when you try to become aware of it
Ohhh
