The new professor at my uni is gonna hold an alg top course
Im hyped
We didn’t have anyone who offered that before
I think he reduced a bunch of matrices for 40 minutes and expected us to infer that's he's not just doing it randomly
there actually rules that exist which he's following
Does his book cover it?
I dont remember this at all
I remember learning the the terminology and the heuristic for how to reduce
You didnt learn the algorithm ryc?
Theres like
a pretty functional way to do it without thinking at all
I do remember learning the algorithm
I dont remember what darq is saying
And I used this course
It might make sense if the ocw vids expect people to read the book in a certain order
Rref is unique either way
If you know what "rref" means
Or
I guess you can reorder the rows or something dumb like that
unique up to contractible space of choices
nothing meaningful
lel
rule 2 doesn't allow that
what I was saying is that these (axioms/rules/w/e) were never explicitly mentioned in his lectures
Those arent rules for how to construct rreff
That's the definition
I would be surprised if he doesn't define RREF
the Zermelo-Frankel rules
Are his videos meant to be a standalone resource?
Like, in a normal class it's not uncommon to have that kind of stuff covered in required readings in the syllabus.
(and then I retook lin alg in uni, a more theory based version)
So maybe im remembering that
The way I learned LA kinda dodged rref somehow
Those are great but you do need to read the book for those
They explicitly do not cover a good portion of the material
I like those the best though
you do not want to read a text?
When my analysis class had us do Hoffman-Kunze we did some rref
I barely ever want to read a text if I can help it
okay let me send u something
But my first "class" on LA basically only cared about row reduction to prove that row = column rank
And the idea was just, row operations don't change column rank and vice versa, then you can just reduce to, basically "Smith normal form"
i started learning about math probably like 4 years ago started with prof leonard precalc. and from that time he promised us a linear algebra playlist
there is still no linear algebra playlist
so sad
Treason
awy b2a
seriously its so asd
sad
i hope u know about him
prof leonard is literally daddy
I don't
so sad
Honestly I don't have patience for learning through videos anyway
me neither hahaha
but
i have never been to an actual math lecture uptill like 1 and ahlf year ago
a prof told me i should come and attend his algebraic number theory class
dude lectures are so much easierrr
like they actually do examples of each theorem
before proving stuff
its so much easier than just reading a textbook alone
lecutres>textbooks>youtube
wait is this hubbard?
I have a feeling that being a worrywart is not stereotypical drill sergeant behavior
Also I bet you’re the kind of person who doesn’t even yell
Ye
lol seeing hubbard is so rare i feel
Well, it must've went over my head then
Coz Hubbard cringe
true
jk ive heard hes a very nice guy
It’s a good book :(
What do you mean?
I am a pretty aggressive worryer
Lol that could not be further from the truth
I mean I dont yell all the time
But like
I have to try not to yell a lot

The hubbard shills are trying to false flag
Ok
Uh huh
Very poetic
I feel the opposite frankly
at least the linear algebra part
hubbards approach to LA is very concrete
which made it a lot easier to digest the abstract perspective when I switched to artin
I'm talking about him barely even touching abstract vectors spaces (and doing a mediocre job tbh)
like, I don't even think there are matrices in there with entries from a different field than R
nG is cringing so hard rn lmao
besides, there are vector spaces that are not isomorphic to R^n
not even $\bR^\i$
DarQ
$\bR^{|\bR|}$
gmod
Yes but how is that related to drill sergeant
,tex I doubt it. you probably talk like \fontuse cmr5 scaled 400 this. (Small because you don’t yell)
I get nervous that things outside of my control will go wrong so I take control of things and boss people around if I dont stop myself
And like
Get very anxious when control over situations is torn from me by people I don't trust and such, and that usually manifests itself pretty assertively
Obviously I have gotten better at tempering this and just going with the flow a lot more now since i am not an adolescent anymore
And in actual crises usually the control freak turns off almost completely
You're lucky hippie mode is on right now!
for graduate level mathematics, does one have to be naturally brilliant at math?
Anyway it's not actually weird because whenever I do take over situations they always go right, and whenever I think I need to and then don't in like 85% of cases something goes wrong
Certainly not. But math academia is really competitive
I relate a lot
More than anything the important skills are patience with yourself, being willing to spend a lot of time and energy learning, and also being open to collaborating with people / learning from people / teaching people.
hmm, thanks!
i’m sorta looking towards academia, cuz the forefront of knowledge in any field fascinates me, but i worry that it takes a certain je ne sais quoi that one either has or doesn’t have, just as it’s impossible to be a good composer without innate musicality.
I dont personally think any of that makes any sense, but I dont know anything about this
(and i dont think many people do)
If there is innate talent it is almost surely massively eclipsed by the amount of time, effort, passion, and collaboration that people put into their work
all skills I'm not great at lol rip. The only thing I do have going for myself is some innate mathematical ability but I'm nothing amazing either, and certainly not enough to compensate for my lack of skill in these other areas.
Well
If you arent super deeply invested in learning math for the rest of your life
Which is kind of what i'm saying
Idk why a career in academia would be ideal anyway
Academic careers kinda suck
There are many avenues to do more interdisciplinary research for much more money
In industry contexts
Yeah that's probably what'll end up happening, I think I have too much chronic depression for academia lol
So it zaps my ability to be passionate about pretty much anything :s
That said math is still what I'm most passionate about, it's just a low bar to contend for that lol
I kind of feel that tbh
The more math I do the more people I find who are willing to just think about math almost every day all day
And that is not me
People will be like "OMG i took a day off from math, this is so unusual!" which is awesome, and yeah I used to also think that way in undergrad. But now I take days off from math a whole lot
Maybe that will stop soon
Anyway, getting more and more comfortable with there being multiple routes towards fulfillment
I think you can make a great career in math, while not doing math every day, all the time
Mental health is important
And being off for a few days can really help
It's not healthy to have this idea than in order to do math, you must dedicate your entiere life to it
There are lot of "normal people" doing research math, having a family, hobbies etc
I think these people aren’t worth being too worried about
Once the mathematicians I respect most has often been accused of playing so much elden ring that he is behind on a bunch of projects
loch vibes
just have fun man forget about people
Yeah i was mostly trying to subtweet own shin
I feel that on a spiritual level
who is own shin?
what’s the hardest problem you’ve ever solved
I can tell you hardest unsolved problem
That's the ideal but it's also not how careers work
And like
Does anyone know how 3b1b videos are rendered i want pretty curves
How collaborative work happens
Smh my my head I own two shins
Sometimes you need to be not having the most fun in order to make what you want to happen happen, that's totally fine
I didn't consider math fun for a few months, I had to do it anyway, and then after the summer started I stopped doing it completely for like a month. I have no problem with that, but then you talk to people who are like "omg, I feel so guilty that I didnt do any math for the last 3 days" and it's like, our research interests align but am I willing to work with you?
Sure but also the hardest one you have solved
idk about hardest ive solved
nothing spectacular for sure
i guess probably a homework question
That is fair
Why would you not be willing to work with somebody like that?
Are you just worried they'd be pushy and annoying?
yes
maybe not pushy and annoying
but just incompatible for different reasons
can coach/boost in val for help in math
I guess I can understand why that could be an issue.
It's kinda challenging having to negotiate those kinds of issues for other activities even with people who are less obsessive.
its just weird lol
gives bad vibes
people who cant take breaks from stuff they like in general 🤔 and then proceed to complain when they do get breaks from it
Oog
but dats my take on it
I have no problem with it and could definitely work with it. It just signifies to me that two people are in different places with their relationship with their work, and that this could generate friction or imbalanced progress
But then again, sometimes I need someone like that to like
Push me to match the same pace
I have tried that and I can do it for a few months but eventually the incompatibility catches up to me
I am much more of a slow burn, "tidal" learner I believe
Than someone who works in quick bursts on many different things
I'll always be happy to learn, but I'm rarely going to be so invested that I choose to spend a day that I'd planned to have off working instead
That happened a lot in undergrad actually
It's really nice to not be bound to that
Anymore
At the same time, I underwent a lot of personal shifting and progress over the last year and that exhausted a lot of the energy that I would mostly devote to academics. I get the feeling that this year will be different
hmm i see

I've been outplayed
damn
Yeah I think it's very unhealthy. Even if you do do math all the time there's not necessarily a direct correlation between that and any form of success lol. You should make sure you're fulfilled in how you're spending your time
Without additional context, what could be the difference between the two "contrasting" things here:
"We will not tweak their construction, we [instead] want to use their example as a base to construct our own."
The only thing I can think of is that in the latter, their example will be directly referenced in our construction.
(not sure if rumor) but apparently hilbert did only 4 hours of math a day
I'll make sure to keep doing no math as a service to you
I expect compensation
I don't think its abnormal at all to do about 4 hours of concerted math a day
Faculty have plenty of other responsibilities
true
Teaching, emails, organizing events, being chairs
also how's your PhD going ryc?
I have been to 2 conferences this summer and both were great!
The second one made me really excited about math again
oooh what were they about?
And about working with math people
nice!
The first one was about scientific computing and numerical linear algebra
The second one was about the navier stokes equations
It just ended
And tropical islands
Well the great thing about the conference was that I didnt want to skip everything to go to the beach
Lol does your university take care of the travel costs or do you have to pay out of pocket to go to these conferences?
Actually feeling stressed
Which is a good sign
Which is rare for me
if it's the former it'd be sweet!
They pay partially
So sort of sweet
Lol that's good, better than the latter
But the first conference was a good bit out of pocket. The second one a lot less out of pocket
I turned both into like
Real trips
Like mathy vacations!
So they got a little more expensive, but not by much
Yes
So I'm in hawaii for another week
Today I hiked up this mountain
there's still work being done in how to do linear algebra in computers? I thought it was all figured out?
damnn
Oh certainly. Tons
Pretty sure a paper on the arxiv just claimed to prove a result due to my advisor
Wtf
The work I did was related to optimizing the amount of data movement between ram and cache (or between processors in parallel systems) in order to perform convolutions in neural nets
What’s the weather like in hawaii rn
Like low level programming stuff?
I proved theoretical results for how good it can get, and my collaborator developed algorithms to meet them
Yeah
I see
Like 75ish and a little humid
The ryc convolution between neural nets theorem
I hope to understand stuff like that sooner rather than later, that sounds super cool
Nice
I owe my seminar a talk
british columbia is nice
Are you with other ppl?
Cause it was not expensive
I'm with my mom and brother, they came out after my conference
wow 77 is like the perfect temp for me
Oh nice!
Yeah its very nice to have people I know really well
Instead of a bunch of people that I dont know and want to write papers with
what was the 2nd conference about?
Various aspects of the navier stokes equations
One set of lectures was about long time behavior of fluids
One set of lectures was about fluids in nonsmooth domains (think like boxes with corners)
That is one question you can ask about them, yes
Not what anyone at the conference was stupid enough to address

The last set of lectures was about turbulence structures in fluids
I guess the closest to the million dollar question
Anyway that was cool
turbulence structures?
It was about how turbulence manifests as a fractal structure of vortices that align themselves in perpendicular layers around the previous layer

The vortices in the smaller layer compress the larger layer, the larger layer stretches vortices in the lower layer
Eventually the larger layer dissipates and the smaller layer creates its own smaller vortices
Around it
Something something biot savart law
wow
So this model (which is extremely crude but heuristically reasonable) actually lets you derive kolmogorovs' 5/3s law
i dont see how the biot savart law comes into this
Which describes how the energy is distributed among different sizes of vortices in a turbulent fluid
(energy is proportional to wavelength^(-5/3))
wavelength of?
Biot savart law describes how a flow is modified by its vorticity field
Vortex structures in the fluid
oooh
Yeah its analogous to the electromagnetic law
Its the same thing
Just
Different physical setup
Its cool!
people have solved the navier stokes in 2D right? has it been done in higher dimensions than 3 and 4? because I keep seeing this "pattern" in math where like you can do stuff easily in 1 and 2 dimensions and easily in 5 and above dimensions but 3 and 4 dimensions is where stuff gets really hard don't know why
like you can find lots of problems like that
by do stuff I mean, solve problems
in topology this is because of the h-cobordism theorem and stuff like that
a lot of phenomena like this also have to do with exceptional isomorphisms between different structures that only exist in low dimension or whatever
Solved in 2d, its not hard there cause the critical space (L^2) is nice
I think it's solved for d > 3 but i dont recall
Lol I just used to think "oh d < 3 you can visualize stuff easily and d > 4 you have more freedom to move around things "more dimensions" but in 3D you can't visualize stuff properly neither do you have enough freedom to do stuff" lmao
Idk man when I’m stressed I make sure to take it out on others. Less weight on me yknow
That's what I'm saying!
Except I also said that that's adolescent behavior, which I am slowly but surely growing out of
So it all checks out
Yes

To be more serious (which I know none of you fucks want) I do think it's perfectly fine to get mad at people for fucking things up carelessly when you hand them the reigns on things, and I still do get mad all the time. The difference comes in with how, when, and to whom you express that anger
Because being directly mad at that person in the moment is almost always going to fuck things up further
So a skill to build here is the "delay mechanism" where I save some angry panic episode up in a little box, like physically localized sorta. And then it gets to spring out when I'm in the right space, or if needed it gets slowly vented from the box
The issue here is you being reliant on other people
One who does not rely on others will only see the fruits of his own pithy labor
I am a natural born leader. Not a natural born loner.
But a good leader sometimes follows for the sake of his flock.
Bull.shit.
How are you a good leader
What have you lead
Other than your life into the drain
Sorry that was mean I just had to take the opportunity
You’re like the mascot for the mods
I am the mod of the people
but u still havent given me trusted
I do the field research
what kind of a ""mod of the people"" are you huh??
absolutely!
everyone agrees
see?
no denying this
😌
well ok then
,add_honorable_countdown user:samsyet#6969 time:3 months reason:asked for trusted again
Oh shit wrong channel

what does this mean
absolutely!
shyshu is a great and nice person
very trustworthy imho
ryc I still can't use stickers
neam!
In My Hideous Opinion
am i trustworthy!
yess!!
honest is homeomorphic to hideous
Yeah now that neamesis said that im not giving him back sticker perms for another few hours
wow

based!

also what does this even mean
honorable countdown thonkzoom
i bet he's trolling, it's not even something real

if it was the wrong channel he would've deleted that immediately
It's a command related to the helper role. It's boring
helper?
thonk
why does it say honorable then
okay imma test this
Oops, I typoed
Actually, unironically, yes. He’s trustworthy in the way that 6 year olds are. They’re too young and innocent to have any malicious intent
i wanna be angry at that
But thank u slurp
Wewcome
be in a superposition of anger and being grateful
that i am
I can now use stickersss!!!!111!111!1!!11!11!!!!1!!
best alg book!
let's go!
stickers for everyone!
lol okay i'll stop
It's a lot
Try doing 4 hours a day, everyday
I guess? lol I can't really see it as being a lot
maybe I just haven't done a lot of math
coz we havent done a lot yet

we are quite literally at the start, so ofc 4 seems normal

Lmaoooo what???

4 hours of serious math is a lot
i found a question "what are some ugly maths formulae" and saw ramanujan's 2 formulae approximating π
the numbers look ugly asf indeed but it's so true though
ugly but beautiful
This holds true for doing most things “seriously” tbh
E.g. I’ll also feel utterly exhausted if I do 4 hours of seriously playing piano
And basically call it a day then
a 4 hours concentrated and productive maths session is a lot
looking at the numbers makes me feel like "wow this thing is true"
because if it's not true no one's gonna use these numbers lmao
You'd be surprised what you can achieve in that time if you actually sit down, block out all external distractions like your phone, other tabs etc
I don't recommend 4 hours without a break in between tho
Yeah
i do at most 2 hours and then take a 15-20 min walk outside with some music
Another thing i like is active breaks
yes exactly i tried that last time
maybe a bit more/less than 4hr
it felt really good and made me surprised that i could do so many maths
Like in terms of not spending the breaks you take scrolling on social media or something
yea i always have a break, go outside and touch grass after doing maths for like 2 hrs
actually it works for anything, goes same with studying/reading books/playing piano/etc
simple pendulum getting wacked by a hammer
now I want to see if I can learn how to use this ODE library and do the real pendulum
anyone else struggle with self study cuz they just try to move on to new shit asap rather than working through lots of problems
Yeah totally
Tbh I hate problems, I prefer to read and think about every details about what I just read
So I've never really done problems on my own
Only in class when I had to
i do a few but never enough to be able to quickly and confidently get the solutions
And discipline is not working
Just do whatever you like
And find joy in it
There are a lot of way to do math

how important do you guys think are grades in undergraduate for testing mathematical ability?
or rather do you think grades in exams correlate with mathematical success later on?
I think that good mathematicians have issues / life gets in the way / make mistakes but that overall if your grades are suffering in math classes you probably have something you need to work on
Like, sometimes getting one B can tank grad applications to certain schools, which I think is probably unfortunate. But if you are getting a B average, you might have some deficiencies to work on, if that makes sense
convert them to ascii and see what's written
"playlist" lol
I see your point but I don't think exams are a good way to actually measure people's understanding of something. Many exams involve at some point a calculation which I certainly wouldn't do by hand outside of exams. But yeah, there probably is pretty high correlation between who finishes their PhDs and who is good in undergraduate
Ah yes good english
Doesn't matter I think one can understand what I was trying to say
How can I smile at evil things? How can I smile at people calling evil things good? How can I smile at people calling good things evil? How? How?
you just do?
what kinds of evil things?
what some people might think of as evil is probably not evil to the other person
by being based
Based on idiocy
lol
I mean there is definitive evil and definitive good. There’s somehow people who call evil stuff good
Hypocrites exist in many places and many who disguise themselves as good but are ravenous wolves

@ moderators HELP ME WITH MY ALGEBRA IT IS DUE IN TEN MINUTES AND I HAVE NEVER GONE TO CLASS PLS I NEED A GOOD GRADE PLS PLS HELP

This is the part where they'd get really mad at you probably
But my impression of that is not as good

Has anyone ever gone through all those Einstein quotes and verified which ones he actually said
The one about explaining stuff to 5 year olds annoys the hell out of me.
Never heard
yeah that quote is utterly stupid
Oh the like if you can't explain it to a 5 year old you don't understand it one?
I've never heard that attributed to him tbf
I'm pretty sure this is falsely attributed to him
or if he did really say it, well he was wrong about some things lol
If Einstein didn’t make the quote I could still somewhat agree with it
But the way I think the quote would be true is if you can’t teach what you know in basic terms
yeah I mean there are clear limitations to the quote
Then you don’t know the subject that way
I mean ya but general simplification shouldn’t be too difficult
I’ve also heard the five year old quote attributed to feynman
What did the physicist tell his son when he was growing up
like you can dumb things down beyond recognition but then you're not actually conveying the same understanding
Damn there are a ton of quotes misattributed to Einstein
“What are you talking about? I totally said all those things.”
-Albert Einstein
“How do I delete a tweet”
-Albert Einstein
He was wrong about a lot of things
tfw completely wrong about cosmological constant and spooky action at a distance
There's this tendecy to also think that just because a person is talented in their field they're automatically filled with wisdom
Not to mention many of the greats were also shitty people
aggressively glaring at newton
feynman's favorite trick is getting undergrads to sleep with him
Can we view normal extensions through category theory WITHOUT automorphisms
tbf I didnt notice that weird ass head the first time I watched el camino
via properties of homomorphisms (likely from the base field poly ring)
how do the help channels work, why are there so many unused hidden ones
Do they start up again when the active channels all get used up?
well there are the ones that are occupied plus 3-5 available (I think the exact number depends on how many channels are occupied since it makes sense that if there are a lot of channels occupied, a lot of people want to open channels) and then the ones that are hidden to save space
if an available channel becomes occupied, a hidden channel takes its spot, and it seems to be in numerical order, so the hidden channel with the lowest number is next to be on the available list

Didn’t we go over this
I had some amazing suggestions iirc
i forgot
So did I
Uh oh
I think some were like extension cords and those things you plug in sockets so you can charge multiple things
oh yeee
yeah with me lol
that would be awesome if my FUCKING SCHOOL LET US BRING EXTENSION CORDS WITH MULTIPLE OUTLETS
Cleaning supplies. And the will to clean your room.
you're already in uni, gmod?
nice

I wonder how roommate's gonna be like
please, o God, all mighty
please, I implore you
not someone religious
wait are you going too?
yeah
nice
this is why I chose my roommate
I got no clue when doe
oh tf
in the US you can
not that that would make a difference ig
you're in india right
I know no one going there haha
oh damn
bruh wat
or am I confusing you with others
Why don’t they
I wonder why people think I'm from india
sAfEtY hAzArD
you're like the 3rd person
extension cords with only one outlet are allowed
Imma convert you
there are some exceptions and whatnot
Sounds like your school hella lame moddy
Fuck you
It makes a huge difference
I don’t have a dorm
no he meant for him personally since he didnt know anyone anyway
apartment???
in my books, that's a compliment
RIP
Nope
or living at home
Yes
ahhh
in my experience non religious people are more fun
I’m not outta hs yet ;-;
dw its fine darq

rip slorpy
Hell yeah partay time
im sure there will be things about your roommate that will suck but hey
And after I graduate I’m still not getting a dorm
its the experience
Since uni is like an hour away in traffic
you're getting drafter :wheeze:
I already do
Well
It’s an hour away in traffic on a bus
I don’t drive
lol
Yes
fuck cars
I don't drive bc my parents are cheap ;-;
But yeah the commute to uni sucks ass
oh well I won't need a car much in college anyway
Though it’s okay if I’m going from school to uni
I can walk or bike to most of my classes
Since I’m already outside
and the public bus system is FREE
I don't drive -> parents are cheap
first world logic right there
Omg biking moddy hella hot
oh
Parents are cheap -> I don’t drive
DarQ
Get your logic right
yes
They’ve cheapened it or something here
where do u live
Wait a sec is cheapened a word???
Omg it is
since my college is in a college town
Moddy lives in all of our walls
the entire town is basically the school
What uni moddy?
of course lol
you're bri'ish so you won't know
I didn’t know cheapen was a word
university of florida
IM NOT BRITISH
Omg
do you got all our nationalities incorrectly? lol
wait I thought slorpy was bri'ish
public transport is free in florida?
I guess it was just wew
In a years time moddy will be wearing flip flops with cargo shorts and a golf shirt, while chugging beer and swimming with crocodiles
in gainesville
And wearing crocs
just in that town
alligators*
We’ve been over this so many times
wearing crocs over flip flops?
Swimming with crocs in crocs sounds better tho
or flip flops over crocs?
Oh
I forgot I already said his footwear
yeah you're italian
I will be a business student living with a biomedical engineering student
Mama Mia!
oh shit rly
but you’re such a stem dude
Yesa mama pastaria! Pizza pizza pizza!
you mean you like money
I could do a business major and engineering minor and have access to so many jobs
I too like money fwiw
I find interest in business concepts and stuff like that
Or be math+CS major
no
Business majors are hella boring ngl
cogs in the wheels of capitalism
cool!!!

I’m just kidding, they obviously disabled pinging everyone
Hey! Is there any Russian? I need help to translate some (small) chunks of text from Mendeleev's first periodic tables, I'm curious to see what is written there

learning in any language except for english is dumb
learning any math except for applied math is dumb
JEE math!!!!

I'm going to grade 11th, what I should know? For what I should prepare?
Algebra and Trigonometry and Geometry. This should be enough.
basics of algebra and geometry would be nice
@arctic grove @sleek wing don't sully me, that's a valid point!
Thank you!
not at all
the amount of resources available in english for literally everything vs any other language is insane
that doesnt mean learning in any other language isnt a good thing
the only reason to learn something in a language other than english is because you don't know english

which is a valid reason...........................
but it doesn't apply for me
nor slurp
what

I don't know english
have never heard him speak a language other than english
lol
u have never heard me at all!
i think
also
ये लो, हम हिंदी मे वार्तालाप कर रहे है, खुश?
Lol
so u see
i dont actually know english
i have no fucking clue what all of u are saying
i just use google translate
very efficiently

?
Ok but I have...
And shyshu is a talented english orator!
In fact I believe he has a side job in english radio!

guys wanna see the cayley graph i drew for $G=\langle a,b,c: a^3= b^2=c^2=e, ab=ba, abc=cb^{-1}a^{-1}\rangle$
sean
I have not the least clue about graphs but that's a mighty fine graph. 👌
very nice! that's a beautiful diagram
No one cases

what does it say?
also in csgo when I get teamed up with people from north india, and when I tell them im indian they're like "do you know hindi" like bro what? that's not the only language in india
1 in 2 speak it I think so those are some odds
I think it's like 42% or 40%
"see? i am conversing in hindi, happy now?"
I know like a few words but I've mostly forgotten what individual letters sound like
i can teach on vc
Lol yea after it, teach me hindi
lol yea ok
I wish jee had abstract algebra problems
i dont wish that
at all
based
also I think new members need to be in the server for like a set amount of times before they get sticker perms
I keep leaving and joining so I'm always a new member

shyshu you need to become a mod and give me permanent sticker perms
lmao

dont do that
smh

great reason to be a mod!
u hearing this mods?

I need to, or else I waste too much time in the server talking
so that's the easiest solution
leave the server + log out of discord

slowly finding a solution to my procrastination
same
use the studying role
I noticed something about a word in hindi.
In the word 'Vyakti (individual)' there's a word called vyakt which means to express, so vyakti in english kinda means Expression, but I might as well be wrong.
Literally me, even in IRL LMAO.
it's easy to just to just remove the study role
Like
it takes almost no effort at all
but logging in and joining the math server?
that takes more effort
I'm trying to increase the amount of effort i need if I wanna waste my time and decrease the amount of effort it takes me to do useful things
fairs
there is a permastudying role that has the same effect but you cant remove it yourself @errant ridge
what would it take to remove?
everything
lmao what?
but there is no such role!
,whohas perma
Members in perma-studying!
