$$(2x) - \frac{2}{10}(-4) = - \frac{3}{47}$$
You don't have to worry about fixing the $- \frac{2}{10}(-4) $ term you can just move it to the other side and isolate x
$$(2x) = - \frac{3}{47} + \frac{2}{10}(-4) $$
You can then divide both sides by 2 to just get 1x
if you want you can simplify the fractions on the right, but after dividing by 2 you already have the solution for x

I have taken math through diff eq, as well as taken but not completed real analysis and abstract algebra. I'm no longer in school, but want to continue to review and study.
