#Disappearing glider.(not gamebreaking but majorly annoying)

Just go to one of the glider spawn points and get a new one
I only know about the one on the hill and it wasn't there; are there more?
Just google it i cannot send images, there are some spawn points and mulitple of them
This should help @karmic sluice

For me it was medium to game breaking, it is all relative to gameplay styles and how much the bug is impacting. Almost all spawn points have dried up or too impractical to use or only spawn 1 glider or none for 2 weeks of play.
If we left base camp for very long they despawned.
Maybe the simplest solution is to allow for them to be packed away in the inventory. Especially as EVERYONE hates having to drag them up a mountain only to lose them, or not even realise they had lost them half way up.
These days we don't walk up a mountain mind you, if we have access to a glider in the first place, as we can easily gain altitude from ground level.
Do you have many/large structures in your savegame?
Were you asking me, and specifically asking about the SaveData.json file? And if so, what would constitute many? large?
(Opened in notepad just looks like a jumbled mess of json 1.69mb)
That's quite a bit. I noticed that the game is pretty aggressive with housekeeping it's memory, in that it will at maximum save 30 logs on the ground, spawn enemies conservatively and so on.
So my theory is that due to the high number of structures the thing that you posted happens.
Could you deconstruct some of the structures just for testing purposes and see if the issue is still present?
I know it's not a solution but a possible explanation
I'm not entirely sure what deconstructing means, but there seems to be an awful lot of empty squiggly brackets, e.g "Events":[{},{},{},{},{},{},{},{},{},{},{},{},{},{},{},{},{},{},{}]" plenty that look like that. I'm getting a migraine looking at it.
p.s. a lot of people are experiencing this.
