the game randomly crashes and whilst it does that it takes my pc with it. I have good enough specs to run it and my friend with worse hasn't encounterd this.
The friend is hosting a co-op and this bug might be because of this but im not sure

I'm having similar issues, not with the keybinds being removed, but i get pretty regular crashes at least once every time I play. On mine it seems to be a GPU driver issue maybe? After the game crashes other programs don't display properly. RX 7900 XTX, Ryzen 7900X

PC rebooting is a security measure to protect your pc parts. Check your temps, something could be overheating

If only it was that easy, they're up to date. Not sure about ops set up, but i doubt mine is a heat issue. No issues at all with other similarly demanding games.

I had this issue too and all I had to do was undust my PC. There was dust in my GPU/PSU that crashed my computer. Try doing that if you havent done it in a while

Make sure you got enough space on your harddrive. Also try and re-install the nvidia GeForce Experience app.
There is no risk in downloading drivers manually as long as you do so from the official nvidia website. The installer provides you with the same options to clean install and even allows reinstalling software 🙂
