A few ways to improve on them: have the spider crawl on the arm of a person with a risk of being bitten if not taken care of properly.
Have a spider run at a persons feet after a rock is picked up, with it climbing on the persons leg.
Those webs you see now & then? Have people get stuck in them, risking a spider biting you in its panic
