I remember all the online class memories, when me and my classmates will hop on Discord and listen to caramelldansen, meme songs and classic music while doing assignments. I remember Groovy as the cheerer, the one who brings joy and the bot who brings a new, colorful world, filled with music.

I also remember how I used the bot in my Christmas server to stream 24/7 Christmas music and it was a lot of fun. Hi I’m not a regular here or anything but I’ve used groovy since I was just starting out on discord and wanted to say a few words.
I have severe social anxiety and talking to people in vc used to be so scary but what wasn’t was putting on music and sharing music with people who eventually would become my dearest friends. I don’t think I would have the friends I do today without groovy nor would I be so confident in my voice now and to see him go makes me so sad because I’ve spent hours and hours bonding with my friends with groovy playing our favorite music in the background. It may just be a lil bot but it’s a powerful one and I won’t soon forget all it’s done for me. Groovy was my favourite bot on Discord and still is. Although I haven't been apart of the Discord community for a very long time, Groovy was one of the only reasons I kept using Discord. I use Groovy on my old server and I use it on my new. But now I can only say I used it on my old servers and new. I run a radio server and groovy was a huge part of it. It was the first bot I invited and I even created roles for users on the server who frequently listened to Groovy. The title and logos alone make me happy and that's one thing that will never change. I'll always remember Groovy as the best Discord bot ever made simply because nik's friend's bot sucked.

I remember finding out about groovy after trying to find a bot to replace the Tony Bamanaboni bot (RIP to that bot too). Groovy reminded me to the Tony bot mainly because of the support for links like VidLii, BitView and Dropbox which I use to listen to my own tracks. I loved groovy since it was miles better than Rythm. Groovy could easily rebrand to a music bot which only accepts cloud links but at the end of the day, it's up to the developer.

I started using Discord in March 2020. Groovy was the first bot we added to a server. I didn't even know how to use it. Eventually, we learned the basic commands and put songs while we were playing late at night or very early in the morning. It became a very important bot and I put it in every server I made. We had a lot of fun with Groovy, and is one of the greatest memories from 2020, when we were in quarantine, Discord and music was the best way to spend our time.

It's really sad that you have to go, but all the good moments will remain forever.

Groovy is the only bot I trusted and used practically from the very beginning. He has always been a great companion for me and my friends; So far reliable. Good grief I'll miss groovy so much, used it to play a S3RL tribute mix while I was almost doing a speedrun on PAYDAY2 just to get the one down mask but the best memory i made with groovy was on a SCP RPG game with 9 friends of mine, one was the GM, i was the one who voiced almost everyone besides the GM, from a D-class to a SCP like SCP-049, while having 0 experience on voice over, Groovy saved the session, even with one of the menbers going AFK and groovy playing a "elevator music" mid session, wish i could do this again but without Groovy it won't be the same

Last year when my mom died due to COVID-19, her bank accounts got closed. Due to this, I no longer had a valid payment for Spotify premium and I had no one to help. Using spotify with adds is pointless and ruins all the fun. Music is my way of grieving and I couldn't grieve my own mother because of the loss of my subscription. I tried Youtube music but it just wasn't the same. I went to Soundcloud and it just wasn't the same. I quickly came up with the idea to just make a personal server and invite groovy so he could play my playlist. I was instantly drowned in happiness because I could listen to all my mom's favorite songs again with my best friend, groovy. Thank you for all the memories and helping me get through my mothers death. You will always be remembered.
