Remember to:
- Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
- Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
- Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.
:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.
Hii
you can try uninstaling Python Launcher in Installed Apps
Just relaunch the installer, and select add to $PATH
or if you want to go through the hassle, you can add it to $path manually
reinstall python
I did that and this shit still shows up
reinstall
okay now wait
and select add to path this time
this doesn't look like the standard installer; what is it?
after waiting it shows the menu from the first photo I sent
is that the right installer?
the installer should look like this when opened
it looked like this the first time I installed it
i think theyre gonna stop using exe for installation
thats the new installer i think
it will be phased out soon
I did that and the first photo I sent shows up
even if I reinstall it
can you send me this installer?
wait; it automatically adds it to path
you're good to go
try running py in another terminal
yes
close the channel if thats all
alr
