Python help channel opened

Remember to:

  • Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
  • Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
  • Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.

:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.

I think you underestimate how long it takes to debug ai code but if you want anyone to look at it you'll need to share the code.

!paste

Pasting large amounts of code

So that everyone can easily read your code, you can paste it in this website:
https://paste.pythondiscord.com/

After pasting your code, save it by clicking the Paste! button in the bottom left, or by pressing CTRL + S. After doing that, you will be navigated to the new paste's page. Copy the URL and post it here so others can see it.

How in the world do you know how long it would take someone if you don't have a good understanding of it?

I suppose I can't know for sure, but as it's just an order calling issue anyone with experience doing that in polymarket would be able to do what they did themselves prior. I will dm the code to whoever knows polymarket and is willing to help, not rly keen on posting the whole bot here as I need to double check it doesn't contain security breaches ie. codes accessible internally in the code, aws server leak

What you're looking for is called an employee

I'm going to be blunt: don't expect people to read or debug code that you haven't even read yourself

craggy sable
#

Im not looking for anyone to do any hard work here, just alter a few lines of code to ensure the bot calls correctly based on their experience

#

it shouldn't be too complex as it's literally just the clob order logic for polymarket engine, anyone who's built a 15m bot before using taker model should be able to help

#

I wouldn't ask if I thought it was super complex

If you did, you'd be able to do it

in 1v1 I can at least control info a bit better and even if I make amistake way less likely they mass leak it than thousands of ppl

#

You should probably figure out if there are secrets or such before sharing the code and be back here

craggy sable
#

I'm pretty sure there are not, I've reviewed the code myself and it appears it's only posted in the aws tmux environment so it shouldn't give away any critical info, but again I'm not sure if someone could just take the code and then get that info

#

@spiral prismif you're familiar with polymarket I'll send you the code

#

you can consider the bot which has dry run very good edge your payment

9. Do not offer or ask for paid work of any kind.

our problem is mostly that is fairly discourteous to ask people to volunteer their time to debug something you have yet to bother to read. Also, people generally don't provide help in DMs here, neither is offering payment allowed

I'm not trying to be rude to anyone here

#

I am just too much of a noob to debug it myself and I am being blocked by claude after like 5 msgs even tho I pay for pro

You'll have a much better experience on this server if you ask for help understanding what you don't.

@spiral prismI dunno man if I post it here I risk exposing a lot of info not to mention it gives away my hard work for free. I am willing to give it to someone who helps me, but not rando strangers many of whom were rude to me for no reason

#

model has a 74% win rate after 959 trades in dry run
made ~557% in 2 days

spiral prism
#

I'm fine with either

craggy sable
#

ight let me just look over it one more time and confirm there's no security issues and I'll dm you it

#

@spiral prismok I dmd you thanks for being willing to help I really appreciate it
