When I enter the command "pip install pygame" in the terminal, it says getting requirements to build wheel, and then gives the error "note: This error originates from a subprocess, and is likely not a problem with pip. ERROR: Failed to build 'pygame' when getting requirements to build wheel." How can I fix this? My Python version is 3.14.3

Remember to:
- Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
- Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
- Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.
:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.

Try installing pygame-ce instead
in general, the base pygame won't be fully supported for the latest Python version. It takes the maintainer some time to re-package everything properly. The -ce in pygame-ce means "community edition": it's other Pygame users trying to maintain it.
