Remember to:
- Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
- Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
- Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.
:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.
do you know the basics of python?
I don't know.

In this video, I'll be showing you
how to build a custom discord bot using Python. This isn't super complicated. It's going to be relatively fast, and we're going to do this...
then you should learn that first
yes

i've learned from that
Then how can I learn?
^
sure but there's a lot of bad practice
A hands-on guide to Discord.py
learn python first then even look at discord bots
How much time it will take to learn python?
1-2 weeks to learn the basics
more you pratice and more you learn
everyone takes a different amount of time, you shouldn't depend on that
When you're familiar with the python basics and object oriented programming, then move on to discord bots, else you'll find yourself stuck a lot when making a bot
So I'd say about a month given you practice frequently
Then can you give me a tutorial for basics

It's all worth it to learn the basics (and more),when I started, I tried jumping head on to discord bots, and let's just say it was very painful experience
I want a perfect tutorial to learn python
Automate the Boring Stuff is a really good book for complete beginners and it's free to read online: https://automatetheboringstuff.com/#toc
If you prefer to watch video tutorials Corey Schafer's playlist is also really good: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-osiE80TeTskrapNbzXhwoFUiLCjGgY7
I also recommend Harvardโs free online course, CS50P: Introduction to Programming with Python: https://pll.harvard.edu/course/cs50s-introduction-programming-python
This is an alternative online course with lots of integrated practice problems you can do directly in the browser: https://programming-25.mooc.fi/
In this four links which one you recommend?
CS50P is a decent starting point, just actually read it all and do all the problems without ever touching AI
that last point above about doing it without any help from AI at all is important while you are learning
you could also learn from just basic udemy courses for free, or youtube tutorials. that's basically how i learned. if u are starting from scratch these are good ideas.
