Remember to:
- Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
- Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
- Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.
:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.
hey
ok i nailed it lol
you fixed it?
no i mean i couldnt figure out how to open a thread π
i got the path, now where do i put it?
okay
C:\Users\WAA\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python313\python.exe

top right you see a play button right? click that
run and debug? ok

aaaand it showed my message in the terminal
oh
BUT now a bunch of error type things popped up in my bottom right

am i good? what bout the path thing
seems like vsc did find the path to the interpretor on its own
ohhh nice
you dont need to put it manually
now, i can just continue coding?
yep
this is sooo much easier than C# lol
in C# the weird "main", "void" things pop up and omnisharp completely messes up everything lol

ohmyposh?
well yeah ohmyposh, nerd fonts etc
oh thats cool im nearly at 4000 messages
so you dont use vsc terminal?
no i think its not the best
i use powershell
as i prefer it more
powershell is just goated in my opinion
yeah it depends on the person
id go mad everytime if i had to switch windows between vsc and powershell
im tryna get ideas for my cli but i can't think of any
you can just set it as default
wym?
you can set powershell as a default profile in vscode
so that you don't need to switch
use !close
hey @split sky
to?
if you have no more questions
do this
ill keep this thread cuz i made this for eternity (as long as i learn)
but if its necessary ill close it np
and make a new one eveytime i get stuck π
print(x)```
ive done that
yk bro code?
LoL
in fact, im watching his 12 hour course rn
btw u should not be watching 3 hours a day
noo im watching 30mins
i mean, it does use powershell by default anyway
and thats what i do use inside vsc
and expirement with it a bit
nah i watch the vid first, then i close everything and test my memory on vscode. i do this cuz i note down everything in my notebook
okk
like the variables
i will give u a challenge
Make a variable called num1
and a variable called num2
put the number of ur choice in them
then add them so if num1 and num2 were 5 make it 10 and print it out
this is very basic python
If u have any quesiton's ask me
ive done that lol
many times already
show me the code
ok lemme do it again jic
alr lol
nope my next topic is prolly that
idk
but ye ik a bit bout if/else/elif from C#
yo guys
well when u learn if/elif/else your gonna make alot of projects
does any of you know what a cli is?
anyways cya
tf is that
command line interface?
what kind of ideas do you need? can you elaborate?
dyk cookie cutter?
I have not used it before, but it looks like it allows you to create projects from boilerplate templates,
You want ideas to create project from the templates? or ideas to create templates?
