the "best" way is highly personal, but we generally recommend CS50P "CS50's Introduction to Programming with Python" from Harvard University on the edX learning platform, it's a free self-paced online course https://pll.harvard.edu/course/cs50s-introduction-programming-python

or the free online book Automate the Boring Stuff with Python https://automatetheboringstuff.com/
