So I am taking a Coding class for school and since we are on chromebooks we have to use a VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) to run the Python iDLE and when I run my code I get an error code that I have a syntax error but I quadruple checked my simple code and it still says I have a syntax error. What do I do?

Remember to:

  • Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
  • Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
  • Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.

:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.

The SyntaxError should be fairly specific about the line it doesn't like.
