Remember to:
- Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
- Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
- Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.
:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.
@subtle moss you can't attach PDF files here. The most you can do is copy and paste the text from that and into a pastebin service
If your code is too long to fit in a codeblock in Discord, you can paste your code here:
https://paste.pythondiscord.com/
After pasting your code, save it by clicking the Paste! button in the bottom left, or by pressing CTRL + S. After doing that, you will be navigated to the new paste's page. Copy the URL and post it here so others can see it.
XPM is not even an app...it'a project management strategy...
Where do you even need to extract CSV from?
xero practice management, its like a to do app for teams.
i think
clients put their bookkeeping jobs there.
assign them to workers.
or bidders.
then those bidders assign jobs to their employees.
You probably don't need to export the CSV if you could just send a "GET" request for all data endpoints
manually is better but somehow they want the "automation stuff"
GET current, Parameters, Example URL, Example Response, GET get/[job number], Example URL, Example Response, PUT state, Example URL, Example Message, GET list, Parameters, Example URL, GET staff/[id], Example URL, GET client/[id], Example URL, GET tasks, Parameters, Example URL, POST add, Example URL, Example Message, PUT update, Example URL, Ex...
I guess because of API quota they prefer a scraper... just guessing
ah that could be the reason they are asking for scraping
Shady project
I jsut want to secure my job .-.
Digging into the docs, I don't see anything about rate limiting or having a quota on the requests
i think its a paid software
Doesn't look like you need to do scraping
so it will probably have that.
yea
you can just download the csv file
like in google sheet
I know its a paid software. But they're handling your HTTP requests via OAuth
So its fine
btw if i get stuck in coding somewhere i can ask you for help here @void karma
at this time around probably, only if your free?
Just ask. If I'm around, I'll help.
!server
There's like over 400k people here
I'm pretty sure one or two of them can also help, if its not me
thanks bro
