If you mean by a string of math expression to be evaluated there is the eval(STRING) bulitin function to run a python code from string

just be aware that eval() will run any valid python code in the string ⚠️

so you open yourself up to code execution vulnerabilities if you use it on strings that you don't fully trust, which is a hard thing to do for strings that is user input
