Whenever you are on a terminal and you get asked for login info (eg, Github) they make you type out your email and password, but whenever you input your password it doesnt show in plain text withing the terminal. i want to replicate that but i have no idea what to look up or simply do. (if there is also a way to replace the live inputed text with " * " i would love it)

(im bad at explaining so you can ask me further details)

thanks :)

Remember to:

  • Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
  • Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
  • Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.

:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.
