Remember to:
- Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
- Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
- Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.
:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.
Do you already have a copy of Python installed?
Don't think so, i just uninstalled it
Did you also uninstall the Python Launcher? If so, you can go uninstall it then try installing with admin again.
py and pip don't work
where to see that ?
when i hit windows key and type python, it doesn't appear
It's in Settings, then System, then Apps & Features.
(btw, why are you trying to install 3.11.0? That third part being 0 means it's a non-patched version from 2022... There were 9 bugfixes since then)
I forgot to delete it even if i removed every .exe that i found of python
Never delete exes directly, use uninstaller in the settings
Cuz when i installed latest version it was 3.11 and now i stick to it cuz i had problem with some package needing older version and not the 3.13
and idk i don't need more ๐คท it work so why complaining
But 3.11.9 is still 3.11, just with bugfixes
but hey it work so thanks guys
Do i need to close the post ? command ? discord ?
๐ yeah, wrong one. The first page of installer and top bar say 3.11.0
You can close the post using !close command, or it will automatically close after 1 hour of inactivity ๐ but if this issue is fixed, then I don't think you'll get much problems now until you actually start coding something
nah i'm good with coding python, i have spend lots of hour/hundred on hours on it ๐
