Ive recently started a project for my school but have no idea on how to really start this idea i have.
basically its a program that is meant to see a image of sheet music and be able to change those note values to the music alphabet (A-G)
there is 2 main approaches i was thinking to take:

  1. train an AI module on data and have that decide what note is what.
  2. decide notes based on maths and there height relative to the staff something else.

Im aware i need to use open AI and do pre image processing to get rid of noise. But ive no idea how to train an AI module or even get started on that.

please let me know any thoughts and tips i could use to start or otherwise
ill let it build up and check back in a bit,
Thanks and sorry for any bad grammar or spelling

Remember to:

  • Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
  • Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
  • Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.

:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.
