So, I just began coding as I am trying to make a D&D bot for my friend.

I have been searching for .py, but I keep finding multiple and I am getting confused

are you trying to make a discord bot with discord.py or are you trying to install python?

To use discord.py you need to install it

pip install discord.py

then you can import it
