🔒 how to publish a package

i made an api wrapper and want to publish it on pypi perhaps also set up a github task to do it
i did do this once before but have no idea how
what package manager do i use and what formatting changes do i need before i publish it?

The PyPA has a neat guide on packaging Python projects which should help you with setting up a package for publishing. If you want to publish packages using Github Actions, they also have a guide for that.

The two things I'd probably change from a glance are the name of the package (probably something more descriptive than api) and I'd also fill in the pyproject.toml file which is currently empty. The first guide should give you details on how to do that. Documentation is also perhaps something you should consider adding.

i saw that tutorial before it was hard for me to follow but ill start and come back if i have more specific questions the api folder was bc i for some reason didnt want to name it bc the repo folder already has the name i think that was when i didnt even have it on github or idk why i did that ill fix it
