I want to install tensorflow in pycharm ce on my macbook pro m4 apple silicon but i just cannot get it to work.

I don't know if i need to use homebrew, pip, conda or pyenv. It's just so confusing.

Remember to:

  • Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
  • Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
  • Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.

:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.

If you want to run it using conda, then use conda.

If you want to run it using normal python, then pip (preferably as python -m pip so you're sure you're using pip from correct python version).

Pyenv is just for setting up virtual environments. Any virtual env's python will work like normal python after activation that venv

Then help. The help threads are already for helping, no need to say "I can help" in a help thread without any actual advice. That is actually considered shady (in the past we had people "help" in dms and infect others with malware, that's why bot message says to beware weird installs, especially over dms)
