So I was wondering if I can paste my user token or make a code that uses my user token to write something or do something. (for educational purposes of course)

Remember to:

  • Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
  • Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
  • Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.

:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.

can. you give an example of what you want to do with it

#

well yes you can imagine a discord bot that asks for your token before trying to connect

#

via CLI for example

I am trying to figure out how people dm people through my channel and I wanted to know how exactly they do it, lets say they paste their user token to dm everyone in a specific channel

#

thats a example

I can imagine they make a discord bot do that yes

#

but like the discord token is only one element of a more complex app

We will not help you with selfbots. "For educational purposes *wink, wink*" is not a get-out-of-jail-free card.
