Greetings all,

Hope you are well. I have written some code for implementing __eq__ with the help of some of the staff, and while the code works now, it's too slow.

The part that needs to be fixed/optimized is anything that has to do with _sort_order

Remember to:

  • Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
  • Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
  • Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.

:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.

If you change the code, make sure it runs the following and shows True

t1 = DAGNode("C", children=[DAGNode("S"), DAGNode("E")])
t2 = DAGNode("C", children=[DAGNode("D")])

r1 = DAGNode("A", children=[t1, t2])
r2 = DAGNode("A", children=[t2, t1])

print(r1 == r2)
