I just started learning PowerBI, and want to use it to interactively visualize results of some process. These results are generally stored in a shapelfile (.shp) which can be read into a pandas dataframe with python. I would like to be able to enter the path somewhere in my dashboard, so that the user does not really have to manually change the path inside a python script that loads the data. Is this possible, or what would be the best way to do this?

Remember to:
- Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
- Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
- Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.
:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.

What do you mean by "dashboard"? Is this a desktop app you building, or a website?
Interactive report inside powerBI
Ah, got it. Sorry, I think I am unable to help. I haven't used powerbi.
