Remember to:
- Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
- Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
- Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.
:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.
As you can see within the csv, I cannot get data from Owner's first name to Zip Code
Here is a snip of what the data looks like in pdf form.
and here is a snip of the csvs I have been creating. I have been unable to grab that data in the middle there.
What is the failed output?
The screenshot above is the failed output. Owner's First Name - Zip Code should be filled in with data grabbed from the left side of the PDF, found under TAX MAP PARCEL NUMBER. other than that, everything else is fine.
Here is a better representation - I have manually inputted the data for some properties, but wanted to automate the Owner First Name - Zip Code column. I am not sure why the code will recognize everything else fine, but cannot grab those six columns.
Sorry but my electricity just went out lmao. Hopefully someone else comes in the meantime, but I personally can't help until it's back. (Messaging from phone)
But Ill help when it's fixed
All good. If this expires I will post again tomorrow afternoon.
Well the post will still be in archives so Il just DM you if I solve it
Perfect, inputting this data manually has been a nightmare, but I am glad I have been able to automate every other column. Let me know if you want any of the PDFs.
I would be overjoyed if this was solved
Il try solve it on my phone lol. I assume no console errors?
That's right no console errors.
Could you send the actual .pdf file @crimson bough
Yes, but it will have to be a DM - the file is too large to send here
@crimson bough can't DM u unless U accept friend request
