Remember to:
- Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
- Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
- Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.
:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.
import easyocr reader = easyocr.Reader(['ja']) result = reader.readtext('E:/ss.jpg', detail = 0) print(result) ['่ฅฒ', '|้ป', 'ใกใ', '<', '่',...
That's not an answer to my question, that thread is basically "IDK figure it out yourself".
I don't know how you could read vertical text with EasyOCR, because I never used it and the docs didn't tell me anything, but I have used an alternative called Tesseract OCR that has support for vertical japanese.
there is also https://github.com/kha-white/manga-ocr but idk if it would work with your font
yes and that is the best you're getting out of EasyOCR
