basically I need to create a code that informs if a given number has two identical consecutive numbers but it doesn´t work properly if the last digit is a 0 due to the fact that the variable "arg" starts of as a 0. Does anybody know how can I change this?

  • Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
  • Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.

here is a transcript of the code ant=0
cont=0
n=int(input("type a number: "))
while n>0:
dig=n%10
n = n//10
if ant == dig:
cont+=1
ant=dig
if cont >= 1:
print("there is repetition")
else:
print("there isn´t")
