🔒 Keyboard shortcuts not working when game window is active

Hi there,
I'm working on a little app which would have certain keyboard shortcuts that would activate certain functions.
The problem I'm having is that the shortcuts only work when the game window is not active, but it needs to work exactly when the game window is active.
I've tried using different libraries, but they give the me same result. I've also tried converting to a .exe file and opening as admin, but still the same.
It works, just not when the game window is active. Is this a known thing. Do you have any suggestions?
