Hey, this code:

             "variable.language.special.self.python"
             ],
             "settings": {
             "foreground": "#1bdede",
             }

that I put in settings.json works for self out side of a class but does nothing when self is within a class
can anyone tell me how to fix that?

Remember to:

  • Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
  • Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
  • Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.

:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.

Are you sure the color of the "outer" self is the correct one? self doesn't exist out side of even methods, so VSCode shouldn't be matching self there.
