Remember to:
- Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
- Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
- Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.
:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.
how did you create the dataframe in first place?
import pandas as pd
url = "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_population"
tables = pd.read_html(url)
tables[6]
world_topten = tables[6]```
it looks like it's using a MultiIndex for the columns, you could try something like df.columns = df.columns.levels[0] or df.columns = df.columns.values[0]
Can also try: tables = pd.read_html(url, header=[0])
this didn't work for me ... sad
this worked perfectly, thank you
