Remember to:
- Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
- Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
- Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.
:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.
Thanks!
So via Trusted Publishing?
Yep
As the page says, normally pypi doesn't know if the url provided is controlled by the package owner - you can put anything there, even Google.com as homepage... But if the publishing is done from certain repo (e.g. via github actions, or via gitlab ci/cd), then they know that the repo is for sure controlled by the same owner
So I will have to update my package with GitHub forever I guess?
If you want the pages to always show as verified, yes
But after you configure the action, it's just one click
Note that not all the detail will be mark has verified. For example, see this project https://pypi.org/project/FontCollector/#data
