🔒 Sympy 'k' is not defined

For some reason it is giving me this error seen in the picture while i did define k

def xn(n,p):
    xn = Sum(Product(p**l-1,(l,1,n))/xnnoemer(y),(y,0,n))
    return xn

xn(2,2)

k is defined in my sum thingy

with this other code it worked just fine

where do you think y is defined?

The error says y is not defined. Not even k, just y

And there's no line anywhere in the code you showed us that defines y.
