Remember to:
- Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
- Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
- Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.
:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.
What exactly do you mean by switching? Each Nic on a computer or VNic is always usable. @short geyser
Hi! I attached message but i see its deleted, idk why. I need advice on a code I created for enabling/disabling a network adapter on a NIC. I have two adapters named "ZLZ" and "RYANAIR," and the code switches between the two. I tested it, and everything works fine, but I just want to make sure I haven't made any serious mistakes in the code (I'm not a programmer; ChatGPT helped me write it).
!paste
If your code is too long to fit in a codeblock in Discord, you can paste your code here:
https://paste.pythondiscord.com/
After pasting your code, save it by clicking the Paste! button in the bottom left, or by pressing CTRL + S. After doing that, you will be navigated to the new paste's page. Copy the URL and post it here so others can see it.
Just a note with all this subrocess getting information stuff, it might be safer and easier to use psutil.

Also just wondering what problem are you solving with this code? You shouldn't need to disable a adapter or a virtual one. I play with vms and currently have 10 active Vadapters.
I need to switch between two VLANs.
You can connect to multiple vlans at the same time.
maybe with ACLs, but we want separate networks
so i make trunk port with two vlans allowed
and connect on one nic card
