Remember to:
- Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
- Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
- Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.
:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.
if av < 21000:
if 55 < yob < 64:
bonus = 250
elif yob > 65:
bonus = 300
if 21000 < av < 25000:
if yob > 55:
bonus = 200
else:
print(f"You will receive ${result} AP Cash + ${bonus} AP Seniors' Bonus")
```what if `av = 21001` and `yob = 56`
for all the statements with av = 21001 and yob = 56?
No, they're asking you what would happen, with your current code, if the values of av == 21001 and yob == 56
Ah still getting the same error
there are more problems with year of birth, you store the full year and then you compare only the last two
1965 is not exactly at risk of being between 55 and 64
furthermore:
if 55 < yob < 64:
bonus = 250
elif yob > 65:
bonus = 300
nothing for 64 <= yob <= 65? (last edit I promise)
