It just says "This interaction has failed" when you press on a button and doesn't throw an error.

You run the command in your DM and it shows the view, correct?

Basically you execute the command, then it sends a DM to the user that executed the command in the DM's. It then has the view attached but the view doesnt work.

Have you tested if the on_interaction is being called?

and if those if statements are true?

I would put a debug print right after

Like just a print to verify that the if statements are true

That means that one of your print statements is not true and you are therefore not ever responding
