Hello, I'm trying to install Python 3.5.9 on Alpine 3.20 as well al PIP 20.2.2.

I basically took this Dockerfile (https://github.com/docker-library/python/blob/bbcf54ff145c32dc1e04b4bd3b96cffffd5872ae/3.5/alpine3.11/Dockerfile) and just changed
FROM alpine:3.11 to FROM alpine:3.20.
Compilation seems to be working, but once pip --version is ran, I get segfault. Has anyone succeeded in this?

Remember to:

  • Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
  • Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
  • Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.

:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.
