why is your print function in your for loop commented out

you can't do that

you can't have an for loop without a statement, that's invalid

It says int object is not subscript able

On the line where I print the random number

you're overriding your outer letters variable with the letters in your for loop

change your for loop's counter name to anything other than letters

also, if you want to print a character at a time on the same line in a loop, use this

print(letters[random.randint(0,53)]), end="")
