hello, i am working on an "OS" if you can call it that, i am not working withj the bios or something like that, i am just making a system with its own file extensions and applications, its a fun project i call LucOS, i wanted to ask if someone more advanced programmer would like to work with me (i wont play you, sorry) as a fun thing, everyone that will help on the project will be in nall the credits, i would like to get help with multiple things like: The Desktop (User interface to run applications) and some help with the terminal commands, the project is still just ideas but yeah, so everyone knows, its not like you could hop in and help for an hour, if you want to help, you will get credits and a part of the fame (if there will be any) and will have to be ready to spend weeks or even months on this project, i will give everyone that wants to help an interview (not to see who are going tyo be allowed to help cuz i need all the help i can but to see waht you would be the best to work at) i hope that everyone that applies will be ready to when the "OS" is done keep helping and working together with me on sideprojects and more. DM me to apply, and RESPECT if you read all this ๐Ÿ™‚

Python help channel opened

Remember to:

  • Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
  • Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
  • Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.

:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.

WHAT

#

I JUST WANT HELP

urban coyote
#

help is needing help with an issue, a bug, something not working

#

you want someone to work with you on a project

steel ingot
#

let me see

urban coyote
#

#

come with specific problems while doing this project, this is considered help

cloud falcon
#

steel ingot
#

we are not a hirering board @cloud falcon it is ofc fine to talk to people, but this is a help channel for python help, and since this is not python help, you should close it

cloud falcon
#

im not hiring someone

#

no salary, just some help

steel ingot
#

this is a python help channel

#

you are looking to find people to help you with a project, well, you can do that by talking to people, not by using our help system

cloud falcon
#

but then ill be reported by dm advertising breh

steel ingot
#

im not telling you to DM people

#

you are again missunderstanding what im saying

#

if you want help with a large scale project you need to find people that are interested in helping you out by networking and talking to people.

cloud falcon
#

then its ads

steel ingot
#

i think you are missunderstanding what im telling you on purpuse

#

do you have a github repo with your project?

cloud falcon
#

No, like i said its just ideas

steel ingot
#

with iusses and a kanban board with tasks?

#

well, ideeas are cheap and you will not get much help with ideas alone

#

if you get started with this, it will be much easier to get someone to be intererested in helping out

#

its a lot of work to manage a large project, and people will not join to do all the work themself from idea alone

#

you have to have a considerable amount of work already done up front

urban coyote
#

also, i wouldnt recommend python for something like this

cloud falcon
#

Ill just delete this post ive already got someone

urban coyote
cloud falcon
#
