🔒 LaTeX in Kaggle Notebooks

I may be doing something stupid, but for some reason, I cannot get my LaTeX to format correctly in my kaggle notebook. It just... doesn't work. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

have you tried wrapping the latex in $(inline) or $$(block)? i.e.

... for all unique combinations of $k = 1, 2, \ldots, p$ predictors, ...
