from google.auth.transport.requests import Request
from google.oauth2.id_token import verify_oauth2_token

from pydantic import BaseModel

class GoogleToken(BaseModel):
    id_token: str

class GoogleAuth:
    def __init__(self, token: GoogleToken, client_id: str):
        self.token = token
        self.client_id = client_id

    async def verify(self) -> dict:
        return verify_oauth2_token(self.token.id_token, Request(),
                                   self.client_id)

I want to write test cases for this, but have no idea, tell me some resource, or make me one test.

Remember to:

  • Ask your Python question, not if you can ask or if there's an expert who can help.
  • Show a code sample as text (rather than a screenshot) and the error message, if you've got one.
  • Explain what you expect to happen and what actually happens.

:warning: Do not pip install anything that isn't related to your question, especially if asked to over DMs.
