🔒 Why isn't my spaceship showing?

I'm making a project following the book 'Python crash course: 3rd edition' and I followed the code but the space ship doesn't seem to pop up, I don't get any error messages running the code.

Just to make sure, you are running alien_invasion.py, and not ship.py, right?

Ok, and what do you get? A gray screen?

i get a white screen but nothing else

(theres supposed to be a spaceship in the bottom middle)

Yeah. Can you print the ship's rect (using print(self.rect)) after doing
self.rect.midbottom = self.screen.midbottom? The code looks fine to me, I think there might be an issue with the image scaling

Maybe it's like too small
